Behind the Style
Hello! My name is Gina and I am an aspiring fashion designer. I have been designing and sewing for as long as I can remember. When I was little I would cut up old bed sheets and curtains and hand sew them together using my Great Grandmothers sewing kit. When I reached high school I learned how to actually use a sew machine and built my skills from there. I knew from then on that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, design fashion! I am a recent BFA graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology (the number one fashion school in the WORLD as of 2023), majoring in fashion design, specializing in special occasion, and minoring in Italian. During my time at FIT, I was nominated for the 2019 Michael Kors Scholarship and an intern for Christian Siriano. My collection is open and everything is made to order.
